1. i have spent over 5 hours trying to put in the left cv halfshaft, i did the right in about 30 minutes, but the left one will not bolt up, therefore it has been sitting for the last 5 weeks, i've returned and tried three different shafts.2. it sounds awful when i start my car, but thats just my own negligence by not replacing the serpentine belt, don't you hate that?3. ride is awful4. apparently 85 degrees on my heater is a lie, it feels like maybe 60.5. gas pedal started sticking, two weeks after i bought it6. underpowered.7. something smells when i turn my A/C on.8. its the cheapest made "luxury" vehicle ive ever seen in my life9. there is nothing you can do to "customize it"10. i would rather kill myself than ride in the passenger seat, there is not nearly enough room.11. does anyone have any advice about the cv shafts tho?

sounds like its all your fault.... underpowered? i guess u have the 3.3 liter. the 3.5 is far from underpowered. the a/c is suppose to put a smell out sometime.

Wish you were closer and I could help with some of your issues.

If you're sure that you're not getting the right CV I've got 2 OEM CV's I'd be happy to sell for pretty cheap.

"a leisurely 17.9 seconds in the 1/4 mile" LOLOL

"handling prowess is considerable [...] superb highway ride, among the best we've ever experienced in an SUV" and at $37k, it cost less than a ford explorer of the same year. Please go buy a ford explorer and report back with your findings, i think you'll be shocked with the difference.

I think you might be complaining to the wrong audience, most people her love their Pathys/QX4s. I used to own an explorer, now that's the cheapest POS I've seen and it was a limited with every option imaginable. I've got 185K miles and just got my first check engine light, I'd say that's a well built SUV.

What's sad is that just about everything on that list is fixable or your fault

Sweet! I am always surprised by how much things lose their value. I paid $7,500 for my 1999. In 2001, we bought a boat for $6,000 that sold for $38,000 in 1988.

To the OP, sounds like you are expecting an awful lot. No vehicle will maintain itself.

You got a great deal! I paid $13,500 for mine in 2003 with 55k miles on the odo. Today its worth almost nothing.

I am amazed at how Hondas hold their value compared to other cars.

Just one example

2002 mercedes S500 was $80-100 k new, $12-15 k today.

2002 Acura NSX was $89 k new, $70 k today

Keep in mind that I bought mine in 2007 with 112k miles. I'd say that you got a pretty sweet deal when you paid just over 1/3rd of the original value for a car with only 55k on the clock.

For the record, yours is worth nothing today because you beat the bloody hell out of it.

No, our QX4's are worthless because no one wants to buy a 10 year old underpowered SUV that gets crappy gas mileage.

Doesn't this apply to just about ANY SUV manufactured prior to 2005?

Meh, not really. Some of the tiny little wannabe SUV's aren't hit as hard since they get semi-decent gas mileage.

That, and the newer SUV's (VQ Pathies & QX4's) with better, more efficient engines go for twice what our VG's go for.

9. Look at my R50 or Aelx's R50 or Tyler's SAS R50...10. If you do, will you get a video of it for my own morbid curiosity... I just like to laugh at people
