wow!

Looks like he's got one of those Hogue powerspeed holsters.Good muzzle awareness.Good isosceles grip. Needs to learn how to count his shots.

I'm impressed. Cool kid with a future in competitive shooting if he sticks with it. Soccer's for f***.

I think the kid probably just needs to learn how to count....

it's not a .22

I'm not quite sure what it is...looks like it's ejecting 9mm...probably handloaded as the slide isn't locking back.

it's got too much buck on it.

does look like a 1911 though.

hell, the slide isn't even locking back on it.

Looks like a super 38 to me.

What does that have to do with you not wanting to be at a public range?

I was displeased with the kids time though, he was slow.

LOL

That is exactly how gun safety needs to be taught.

At a younger age.

no doubt.

I've been shooting since I was that kid's age...not on his level but since I was 4 or 5.

I'm the biggest idiot in the world until I've got a loaded gun in my hand...

I guess it's the parent in me making me totally uneasy watching that. I guess it would be one thing if he were standing still, but RUNNING around with a loaded handgun at that age?

I'm sure everyone around here is well aware of my stance on the second amendment and gun ownership, but I wouldn't let my daughter be doing this at that age. Again, this is a personal feeling, notice I'm not saying "He shouldn't be allowed to do that.." blah blah blah...

Running around with a loaded handgun is fine if his gun control is good. Nobody got painted. I'm impressed!

Seeing that kid running made me nervous as all hell. He was just holding the gun with one hand. I could just see him trip and shoot someone. yikes.

As long as he's got his finger off the trigger it's not really an issue. Hard to trip and pull a trigger you're not touching. And as TMS noted, he's got good muzzle awareness. Always pointed downrange and toward the ground.

That's Phillipeano IPSC.

Whatever he is shooting is very underpowered because he can rack the slide. Even a soft .40 or .45 would be hard for a kid to rack, especially from the front like that.

He had a few errors, like he kept putting his hand infront of the muzzle. That'd get you a muzzle warning in US IPSC from the RSO.

Like they say. Dynamite comes in small packages. lol... Yeah. He made a few errors. And I agree, if you teach them gun control from a very early age, the world would be a better place.
