The link above is my most recent embarrassing moment. and has current pics of my F50 w/IMPUL kitBut today reminded me why I bought my IMPUL body kit.I was driving around sacramento this afternoon and came up behind an Audi A8 4.2 (quattro i think) they are a sweet looking car and this one was slightly lowerred with clean rims and tires that fit just right...but no kit.It was drivien by a 30 something guy with 2 buddies. I passed them and the pulled in to my left hand turn lane and stopped to wait for the left turn arrow. They drive by and do a complete head jerk to see the front of the car. they go thru the light and I wait for my green arrow. Unbekowths to me, they had u-turned at the first chance and were turning right onto the same street as i turned left. We made eye contact and smiled and they waved me over into a parking lot. They got out and wanted to know what kinda car it was!!!!.Five minutes later I'm on my way with a huge grin on my face!!!

THANK YOU to the following:1. to infiniti for doing such a lousy job of advetizing for 10 years 2. to infiniti for building such an amazing car' 3. To IMPUL for fixing the 'weak chin' look on the F504. To Jason Burtman at Burtman Industries for: a) talking me into it b) cutting me a deal 5. my paint and body guy for doing an amazing match of the paint

and finally my reckless abandon to spend $5k like I had it!!!!!

not very humbly.....

Did you ever get the FX 20s for the car, or are you still running the OE 18s?

Mark:

Is Carmichael Honda still there? I was stationed at Mather AFB in the late 60s, buying a few Honda bikes from them, and recall when the first new Honda Civic car was put on display on the bike showroom floor, there not being a facility as yet for the automobiles! My, how times have changed, what!

Which brings me to another interesting car story! Guy I knew in Cheyenne, Wyoming (Warren AFB), was GM dealer. He admitted to once being quite a boozer and, at a convention thing once in Denver, into his cups a wee bit, walked by a display touting the rewards if one were to pony up and buy a Honda car franchise! He had another drink, and said, what the **** and bought one! Which goes to show that, adult beverage intake is not always bad for you!
