When you move the sideview mirror adjuster to the "rigth" position the rigth mirror should tilt down. This way you select which one to tilt down. If you leave the adjuster selector on the middle neither of them tilt down.

Enjoy your new car!

While our side mirrors will both tilt, it has been the history of cars who have this feature, to only tilt the right mirror. This has more to do with the angle between our eye and the mirror and also because the right mirror is made to see more (convex?). I think you will find the left mirror folding down less handy.

hey, congratulations on your new M.pls post pictures, i was thinking getting tint, but isn't it illegal in tri state area?and for that problem, usually comes from unbalanced tire pressure or sometimes wheel allignment. check your tire pressure first.

A few possible causes ...

1. Leaking brake fluid on the other side wetting the rotors a bit, causing it not to grip as well, so the car swerves to the left - usually, this is a hard swerve, not just a bit of pulling. Touch the rotor on the front right and see if it feels wet or slippery or not the same as the front left.

2. Poor or damaged tires. The Goodyear RS-A is to be avoided! If you have these, change them out as soon as you can. If you have low load index tires, they may have internal belt failures (due to the car weight) causing bad handling.

3. Unbalanced tires. Try balancing the tires and doing an all-wheel alignment on the car.

4. Worn brake pads. Get them checked out and replaced if necessary. Use Infiniti OEM pads ... most other stuff does not do as well.

5. Check out the front suspension to make sure all is well with that.

Good luck!

since NBP45 got new M, 1,2,4 is not the reason. so, # 3 probably.

Good point! I overlooked the year, although I think that #2 may also apply - if he has them, the Goodyear RS-A tires are particularly useless and should be changed out.

Regardless, it is a full list for others to use too ...

The reason why they tilt is so you can see the curve and not rash the wheels up.

i actually had the dealer check it out...they said its nothing...probable just the road surface. i think they might be right bc i noticed it pulled to the right also on uneven pavement. i have the bridgestone potenza tires...they seem pretty good. the tints are not legal but if you do it light cops usually dont bother. i got 35% tint all around, its not dark at all more on the light side..i recommend it, the car looks a lot better with the tints..
