Ok so on my way to school on monday and today my vert died. Then i had to put it in nuetral and restart it again. Why Does my vert keep on dieing? Whenever I try to get it up to the speed limit my vert has to rev really high and when i am sitting in line to go to school it shuts down automatically and then i have to put it into nuetral and restart it again. Why does my vert keep on dieing then reliving?

Just my guess, but it could be a loose conection to the battery, or your alternator is starting to go.

If it's not electrical, next thing you should look at is fuel system.

Is it running rough at all?

Is it related to the A/C / defroster problems you were having before? If your A/C compressor is going, the friction can stall your motor.

check your ignition system....could need a new distributor...bad timing, something like that...also check fuel filter. is engine light coming on? does it seem sluggish when accelerating...etc

To everyone. Engine light is not comming on. The alternator and engine are fine. I got them checked by the sears auto center and saw them check it. My dad put this heet stuff in the gas tank so it would soak up all the water that was in there and only leave gas left. Hopefully that will work but I still don't know whats wrong with it. You have to rev it really high just to get it to 10mph. I Hope its not dieing on me.

I had starting problems a little while ago, but after I cleaned the battery terminals and replaced a cracked connection it was all gravy. Maybe like 10 bucks at most at VatoZone for a terminal cleaner and new cheapo terminal.

check your transmission fluid (if it is still an automatic, don't know the history) friend of mine had his torque converter go out because it was running low on fluid, had a small leak that only leaked under pressure at the radiator, had to rev high to go anywhere, didn't want to idle right if at all

My dad put in some heet fluid in my gas tank and now it works fine and revs fine. I don't know what the problem was but whatever that chemical did fixed it.

Sounds like your problem is fixed, but for future reference the battery posts (I used the incorrect term before) are the two little knobs on the top of your battery and the battery terminals are the little circular metal bits that connect to the posts, and then connects to your battery wires.

Terminal:Stock terminals are a lot thinner than the one shown, and crack easier.
