Hey guys, I'm new here but I figured I'd start off my journey into this forum with a question.

I just purchased a 2009 Infiniti G37S Coupe and It's fantastic except that I can't get the iPod cable to work with my Touch 2G. I've seen it work with another Touch and a 3GS Iphone but it doesn't work with the 2G?

Do I need that adaptor thingy?

what version of the Touch worked with it?

and if it worked with the 3GS (charging it) then you shouldn't need any converters

you might try doing a restore on your Touch, see if maybe some of your software got corrupted. Have you docked it with other 3rd party devices?

No I don't really have any other 3rd part hookups. I'll try it.

Well I tried restoring the Ipod and the very first time after restoring it and then installing just a couple CD's and a few Podcasts (NO APPS) I tried it out and it worked. Afterwards I tried a few more apps and the rest of my music/podcasts and it did not work. This is frustrating... Are there any known apps that have issues? Any known Music types or items like digital booklets that this car doesn't like?

My problem is my new iPod nano (4th generation) will play songs but won't charge. This is frustrating since it discharges quite quickly. Is there an adapter I can get? I have an 2009 Infiniti G37x coupe.

Thanks for the tip. I got a Scosche passPORT charging adapter for my iPod nano, and it works! Plays songs and charges. Only $19.99 at The Source in Toronto. Also available at Best Buy and the Apple Store. Will also work for the iPod touch (gen 2) and iPhone 3G.
