Why do you own a 240SX?

maybe I am just to old but all the cars I grew up around where pony cars ( firebirds, mustangs, and crap). The first time I saw a 240sx was in 1997 and it was at a dealership. Since that day I have always wanted a 240sx. So far I have owned 7 different 240sx(s) and I still want more.

I own one because I found one that was mint-asfuk. Most 240's in cali are already modifed, and a stock one is hard to find. Specialy a XE coupe.

Because its a 4 seater! Racing over scary one lane mountain roads in the middle of the night with 1-3 other people in the car is extremely fun!

I had a coupe when I first started dating my wife. Gave that one to my brother.

Then, for the current one I have, my wife totally surprised me with it for a first year wedding anniversary gift. For whatever reason, I can't find that thread.

i had one (and am planning on getting another.)because of their reputation as nice, fast, and reliable cars. also because i have always wanted to try out the legends such as: Nissan 240sx, Nissan 300zx, Nissan 280zx, Mazda RX7, Toyota MR2, Toyota Supra, WRX and so on. To see for my self what alll the hype is about.

Had the mr2, 240, 280, 300, 210 datsun, 510 datsun and was about to get a rx7 but didnt.

At first, i wanted a FWD drag monster. Then i decided that I wanted to go around turns fast also. Come time for me to get a car, I had my mind set on a 240. After a couple months-o-searching, a beautiful white S14 made her way to my driveway. The rest is history.
