My first car was a 77 280Z, that me and my dad restored together. I've been hooked ever since then, i've had 5 Nissans to date and while i've owned other vehicles, Nissan has always been one of my top 3. Even though I hate repair costs at times, they're hard to beat for longevity.

Because of Datsuns, I like Nissan. Then from there, I just realized I liked S-chassis' all of them.

B210 <--- Really one of these right now. Couple of clean ones have popped up lately online.

Also I own three 89 S13's <--- Whatever that means.

I like them now because they are the only Japanese company that has any scrap of soul left. Subaru is Australian...they don't count.

Every S13 has that 'smell'
I think it's from water leaking in, but whatever..it's nostalgic. :chuckle:

I definitely started out loving Toyotas and Subarus when I was young. Toyotas first because my mom had an 81' Cressida, then a Prizm (Corolla with GM badges). I fell in love with Subarus in high school because I watched a lot of WRC back then.
Before I got my first S13 coupe in 2001 (the o.g. members remember my white one), I was actually dead set on getting a MKIII Supra or the 5th gen Celica GT-S. S13 was not on my radar until my then-boyfriend told me about them and showed me some cartoon called Initial D. Oh boy. :chuckle: Actually a really good thing I didn't get the Supra, that and their head-gasket issues.

I'm not keeping the 240, but a Nissan will be in my future as a daily. Probably a mid 90's Maxima. I love the VG/VQ. Nissan has made some great engines :bigthumb:

I'm with Becky though, I love Nissans pre-2000 and the Datsun Z cars. Only new Nissan I like is the 370z

They made the 240SX.

No seriously, for awhile there, I like many of their vehicles. Their Z line has had fantastic body lines, and the GT-R is the best sports car out of Japan. However, many of their recent body works has left a rather distinct rubber band like taste in my mouth and made me do a "thizz face."

Lulz.

After both my 240's and a 300zx, I'm hooked on Nissans. My next will be a 370Z when I can afford it. With my new job, I need a good economical DD which will probably be a Kia, but my weekend car will probably be a 370 when I get some $$$. A NISMO 370 would be tits.

It doesn't matter what part of the country you rescue them from either. They all smell the same.

I like all the Japanese manufacturers, but i prefer their 80's to 90's stuff. My dad had a Sunny that stood up to all the ups and downs he put it through over the years......it finally succumbed to an electrical fire. I was devastated to hear that. In my future there are definitely nissans both old and new.

I learned something the other day. I was in a video store and saw Initial D videos for sale for the first time ever. I never knew they were Anime. I was disappoint.

Because I have wanted one of these since I first saw one.
Hope frankebones doesn't mind me using his pic

I remember not having a clue what they were and trying to figure it out the first time I saw a pic of one. It was and still is my favorite car. I love how they are not a car I see on the road often, the unlimited customization options and just kickass looks. That is what started my Nissan fetish and it has kinda just been downhill from there. I currently have a nice s13 and a nice s14 kouki, 2 s14 parts cars, a 1992 300zx with jdm twinturbo motor that I am getting ready to pull apart for the vg30dett to go into my kouki. Put that together with when you need info or help working on one this forum and most nissan peeps in general are always down to help each other out. Next winter I will be looking at an SUV or truck and the nissan will likely be at the top of my wish list.
