So im ordering goodies off enjuku and fr sport today to finish my car up.

One of the things i noticed is some test pipes have a bung like the megan racing one

and then the circuit sports one for example as well as a bunch of other ones, does not have it

Im guessing this is so you can mount your wideband O2 sensor without having to drill and weld, but is this the best place for it? Ive seen most people weld the bung for the o2 sensor on their downpipe.

Also, i want a resonated test pipe, is it worth the extra money or is it just as loud?

A lot of people say you want it at least 36" (3 feet) away from the turbo. Having it there would ensure you had enough space. Mine is on my downpipe...

The resonator will give it a deeper tone.

The resonator will also kill some rasp and smooth out the tone. Most wideband o2's will tell you in the instructions how far away from the turbo/collector flang they need to be mounted for the best results.

ok, ive decided on this one since its a lot cheaper, and its just a test pipe
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 3045360018

only thing is it says its resonated in the name, but nowhere in the description does it say anything about being resonated, and you cant see in the picture if it is resonated or not

also, whats with those legs that are on the top one? they appear to be to bolt it to the undercarriage somewhere, but as far as i know theres nowhere to bolt it to. The pictures dont show that it comes with bolt for that, and not even the stock cat has those leg things

Thats a non resonated test pipe in the pictures, and I don't have a clue as to why the test pipes have those brackets on them.

Heat shield brackets. Might fake out a visual if it's just a dude with a mirror

That explains why I don't have a clue about those brackets, SC doesn't have any form of emissions check/vehicle inspection.

Yeah, makes it look like you have a cat. I personally want a resonated one.
