Flame if you want....

If you bought a car with such an eccentric history to only modify it and completely ruin it then you might have just bought a 240SX....

It's not like a Skyline's are a dime a dozen. They are a perfect performance machine with a history that has kept it one of the worlds 'best' car.

It just bewilders me that a person would have the audacity to modify a car that they spent thousands on just to import it (if that's the case) just to ruin a perfectly fine car.

Thats right, they should keep it stock and let the oil pump do its job. lol

Im all for the idea of a new oil pump, oil sump and PCV setup on any pre-1993 RB26 engines

What would a Versa owner know about a performance car?

Ummm, don't think I've been posting in the Under 21 section of NICO lately...i.e. Versa forums.

Now, I don't know about keeping it all stock. Well, maybe the R34 would be ok in completely stock form, but the R33 definately needs to be just a bit lower than the stock height.

I have a 95 V-spec on 18's and it still has some huge wheel gap and the V-spec is supposed to be an inch lower. I don't want the tires filling up the wheel well, but I would like a little less gap in the fenders.

The R32 stance looks nice stock. Not to much wheel gap in there.

They could also do with a slightly larger front pipe on the R. If the stock ones were even half an inch bigger in diameter it would make throttle response just that much better.

Almost any car can be improved. Very few can be called PERFECT imo. And I'm sure a car I consider perfect, someone could find something wrong about.

only a few cars come "perfect" from the factory... might want to start with the Zonda R. ;D

But as mentioned why waste a perfect canvas of a Skyline GTR without mods?

Skyline's a dime a dozen huh? Look in this link at how many Skyline's there actually are in Okinawa and on mainland Japan.

I like mine, but it is an underpowered RB20E...at least I have a 5 speed, but in a portly R33, it is weak. At least mine looks good, has no rust, and is a good candidate for a RB26DETT motor and RB25DET transmission swap.

Honestly, yes they are a dime a dozen. I see Skylines EVERYWHERE.

Goo Net is a list of dealer only cars, so it doesn't reflect what's seen on Yahoo auctions for the private sector.

The Skyline is the Japanese Mustang.

"hey, I have a Skyline""me too"

It's all about what Skyline you have. See I have the RS, classic Nissan muscle which shows my finely aged sophistication. Neal conversely has a GT-R so he is basically saying, "please don't notice my small pen15".

Yeah, pretty much.

But at least I know it does it's job. The car, too.
