They must... little bastards like the wife's G, but never sleep on my truck. The Q is always garaged.

Probably has something to do with the Q being warmer from being driven more? Maybe you should smear some tuna on the Honda as a decoy!

It looks like cats may have good taste in automobiles.

Mine likes to sleep on the Q while it is parked in the garage next to a Honda Civic. It never sleeps on the Civic. I think it might be the Q is sleek and more evenly proportioned thus making it easier to climb on.

Once I had a Doberman puppy that liked to chew on the corners of Pontiac rubberized bumpers. I remember taking the car to a body shop and to try to get the chewed bumper corners repaired. The body shop owner got a good laugh about that one..

It's probably because Q45's have always been "the cat's meow."

Its really strange, but we have a similar problem with raccoons at our marina.. They almost always come back to the same boats year after year. Some boats we have 3 stories in the air on racks, and they will climb up somehow and get in... its crazy how they will do it, because sometimes they will take time to go through fabric covers and what not in order to get into a particular boat, when theres another one easier to get into with a nicer inside with no cover on it...

Cats sleeping on the car is much less harmful though, but dont let them get up in the engine compartment, my neighbor had that happen and when she started her car, the cat/belt interface was not pretty.

My cat helps me work on the Q. Goes under the car with me, perches himself on the fender guard when I work under the hood and sits on a seat watching when I work inside. I once locked him inside the car overnight. The next morning I found him sleeping on the back seat but no elimination problem - good kitty. I think he just likes the Q as much as I do. Luckily, he doesn't know how to drive it.

In my case both Honda and Q are white. The Q has pearl paint though. I think the cat knows that I have my hands on the car often -- so she must feel obligated to do the same.. :-)

USed to have the same issue.

Take one cat.
Run over cat.
Allow cat to thoroughly dry and stiffen.

When parking car, place flattened dead cat on hood.
Most cats will avoid car from now on.

ROFLMAO literally i just got out of work 2 hours ago and decided to jump on to look at some posts. I haven't taken my Q out more than a handful of times this summer since ive been working 4 jobs......... yeah... FOUR. I left my sunroof open since its like 95 degrees up here in Western MA, and there was a squirl in my Q eating my chopped walnuts and pistachios. they were in a little plastic container with a pop lid. I opened my door and he started running and went right out the sunroof down the back and into the woods. His little mouth was bulging. where the hell were your neighbors cats for this one?

Huge hood, and it's plenty warm after it's been driven a while.

During the winter months, I suspend a couple of PVC pipes filled with moth balls a few inches above the hood. The pipes have holes drilled in them every few inches, allowing the moth ball vapors to escape. Works very well for keeping the neighborhood cats away.

During the summer months, it's not needed - No cat appreciates a hot hood in 100 degree weather.
