What was it about? If it was another CA16 cam thread, that's even good enough reason for me to close the door on it.

haha wasn't me, but I agree. if it was any sort of:

CA16/18/DE/any stock CA cam being better than another one question

it has no relevance and should have been deleted. ALL A MYTH.

It had nothing to do with ca16 or other ca18 cams, lol.

I was asking what would be the best setup for my ride? It's fairly stock except I had my head ported and a 3-angle valve job. I wanted to upgrade the turbo setup later on but as of right now I want to work on the motor. I was debating on whether I should bore it out to a CA19 but that won't be for a year or so.

I tried searching HKS's website but I couldnt find any cams on there for our engines. So Tomei is pretty much my only choice and I'm not sure what kinda gains I would be looking at with each cam setup. Why the different lifts and durations and what do they affect?

256 - 8.50mm 260 - 8.80mm 270 - 8.80mm

I remember hearing that the larger the duration, the more prone the car will be to stalling and will almost give off a 'glug glug' sound that the older muscle/drag cars give out.

the "glug, glug" noise is called Lobing. and I belive it's more about the duration of the cam than it is the lift, but I'm sure a jump in either will do it. if you get some adjustable cam gears, you might be able to shy away from it stalling out, not sure though.
