Surely 0.2 or 0.4mm wouldn't affect CR much, and valves wouldn't hit pistons, or am I wrong?

im not quite sure, i wouldnt think it would do much either having an 8.5:1 cr and all. maybe nissan just wants an excuse to be able to replace stuff for insane prices.

Between having my head milled twice and the block milled I KNOW i had to have more than .1mm milled. I'm using a stock head gasket and my motor is completely assembled with no valves striking pistons. Although it's not in the car and running, I'm 100% sure that it's fine.
