why can't we use pm's?

Does anyone know why when you you try to send a pm it says that the adminhas disabled this option?

Because the Admin has disabled that feature. ; ) DUH

uh damn thanks for pointing that out for me.

I was wondering if someone could give me an explanation as to why that is.
