sometimes people bring up old threads cuz they were using the search. This is a good thing.

imo, there's nothing wrong with reviving old threads as long as something relevant is being posted.

bringing up an old thread to post whore (people do it) should be a no no.

It doesn't bother me any as long as something of use is being posted.

I don't mind an old thread getting resurrected if new info is getting added. Too many times someone just is looking for a post count bump and says something stupid like "yeah that works" or the best reply on a forum "I am not sure maybe someone else knows"

hehe

Why Not?

Doesn't seem like a problem to me.

We get mad and tell them to search, and get mad when they do and post in the old thread. "I don't care who you are, that's funny right there."

We tell PPL to search, they gotto be able to use those threads.

And many of them are useful and we might not have seen 'em before.

Agreed.

Adding new "useful" information to old threads just makes using the search button even better.
