On my 91 Q45 I had non-working TCS (Error code 19, TCS actuator) (totaled before fixing
) but yet my the throttle motor was unpainted aluminum and on my current car the Throttle motor is Black Why is that?
I ask because I want to put a 91 Throttle body on my 93 will it work?

In all seriousness, with the stuff you're doing with the part-outs, it would be good to learn how to proficently use the maze that is FAST since it will tell you a lot of these things. It's a big download at http://www.phatg20.net, but it would be worth the time.

I just need a straight answer because I am going to do the spark plugs and since the TB has to come off I will replace it to see if the new one (1991 Q45 base with TCS) works or not.

Why is the housing different (On the 1991 they are regular aluminum on the 1993+ it is black rubbery feeling.?????

1991-1993 Q45 throttle body motors for traction control are the SAME, Just that 1993 had a different color than the 1991-1992.
I am guessing the internal were improved?
Wonder if 1994-1995(6?) can use the old colored motor to make the engines hard to identify. The only difference I noticed was the plug length for the 1991-1993 Q45 TCS motors and the 1994-1996 Q45 TCS motors.
