I've had two starter failures in the last 8 months on my G20. I've read about similar experiences from many SR20 owners. Why are the starters on the SR20 so problematic?

Good question, it seems that a lot of guys have starter trouble after awhile... two in 8 months is rather extreme though.
On a 95, I'd kind of expect the first one to be a problem by now... but maybe that's strange.
Still, even much younger SRs (2000-2001's) are having issues lately it seems.
