I have a 1972 510. I have new window seals in my windshield and rear window but do not have the crome trim. Both the windshield and rear window are leaking. The glass is not glued in. Are the windows leaking because I don't have the crome? If I glue the seals, would this make them seal? Or would that just be wrong? If I need crome trim, who has it? thanks chris

the trim shouldn't affect it.

have they been leaking ever since they were installed?

sounds like something you might wanna take up with whoever put in the glass.

I've heard of this on the 510s.

Make sure the metal is clean around the window. Glue and new seals may be nessisary to stop all leaks.
