Why am I having such a hard time finding a KA24DE!?!?

I have been looking for months and cannot find a KA! Where are they all going?! Someone in the Midwest has to have one right? Is there somewhere online that sells them? I can find SRs with no problem...I dont get it! Help! Thanks!

Have you tried a local junk yard one of the bigger ones that is? I go to one here called Victory Autowreckers and I come accros at least 3 or 4 240s at a time heh.

Hey this is what i got right now but will sell eventually when the new engine goes in. 103,000 miles, doesnt burn oil, no oil or coolant, or any type of fluid leak, compression within spec, cylinder ring sealing within spec, oil changed every 3000 miles, cleaned, maintained regularlly, and a real joy to drive. Great if your looking for a great base to rebuild. A rebuilt CA18DET will take its place.

Yeah transmission, ecu, wiring harness, (maybe because i might need it for some of the new wiring).

... But the bad news is that its not going to be for a long time. I havent got the new engine yet. Plus i still have to rebuild it (the new engine). So ill keep you in mind for sure. I need my car running right now because of work, school, etc.
