I know that this is a great engine and all. But, why is everyone so concerned about getting the swap done first? I personally want to finish everything else and do it (the swap) last. What good is all that power if you can't control it? It makes more sense to me to upgrade your suspension, brakes, and naturally progress toward the need for more power. The KA doesn't suck that bad. I don't like to hear about people wrecking their 240's because they can't handle the power. I guess this doesn't apply if you just want to drag race. What do you all think?

Well, my suspension was already equipped with Intrax springs and KYB AGX shocks. I'm getting a new rear sway from my wife for Christmas. So the suspension is fairly squared away...for now.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I miss the power I had in my Turbo Buick. If you've ever had a turbo, and then gone without, you'd understand. Trust me.

UHHH, how can you not handle the power? In every other country that got the Silvia it came with all the same parts we had...and the SR. 50 hp jump is not uncontrollable...if you can't control 200hp, then you shouldn't be driving a 240...

Yeah I see your point 50+ hp. isn't that much. But think about the 16yo. that can't control his KA much less an SR. I guess I mean that upgrading other things besides the engine first will best help in learning control.

-Stick to the Civic kiddies ;-)

BTW: I'm not 16 I'm 22 and I have owned a few cars.

If they can't handle the KA, then they simply should not be driving.
