I've searched, and i've been following this forum for a year or two and i just thought this would be a good review. The 50 trim is considered the most all around turbo for the KA, very efficant. There's guys on here making 250hp on it and guys making 350hp on it and all are quite happy with it. However we rarely hear about the high hp KA's on the 50trim, and by high i mean 400hp+....it's common to see in posts here that the 50trim will support 450hp but where is the proof, whose even close to this with the 50trim and how efficiant is it at this power? Of course i'm talking about the 0.63a/r 50trim not the 0.48a/r...

Here's your proof:

My car running a T3/T04E .50 trim (.63 A/R) turbo at 20 pounds of boost. Results are 430 RWHP and 420 RWTQ at the RPMs shown.

Way to kill a thread foster anyways, besides going by example, couldnt you determine this through the compressor map? (I don't really know, I havent really looked into compressor maps)

I never got to dyno but I would assume I was putting down around 380 whp with 17 psi and some aggressive timing. that was with ~95 octane

Well thats proof enough for me...did you get any extras on the turbo? stage 5 wheel or anything? And do you have a website with a list of your setup?

The only "extras" I got was the 360 degree thrust bearing and a HPC high heat coating on the turbine. The complete list of specs of my car as well as more pics can be found here: http://www.ka-t.org/fiznat
