I haven't missed it yet.  Been to all three.  I took the truck in 05, the 810 in 06, and the truck again in 07.  Maybe I'll take the Z this year since it's never been.

A 521 is easy.  Not nearly as difficult as putting disc brakes on a 320 or 520.  All you need is the entire assembly from a 79 620.  Upper and lower links, tension rods, hubs, calipers, rotors, etc.  You'll have to figure out how to adapt the 521 SAE lines to the metric openings on the calipers and you'll have metric wheel studs on the front but you can change those to mid 70s Mercury Capri V6 studs which are the correct size SAE to match with your rear SAE studs.  I had that whole setup about 10 years ago until I realized it wouldn't fit on a 320 or 520.  It's basically a bolt on for a 521 except for the SAE vs metric areas I mentioned and I did end up installing it on a friends 70 521.

unfortunatley i still have 4 wheel drum brakes. my 521 is all stock and 90% original. my concern about the disk brake conversion is that i was told that you cant run the stock 14 in wheels once you convert to disk brakes due to clearance issues from caliper to wheel.

You could run the stock 620 14" wheels.

do you know if those 620 14's are the same as the 521 14's? after all a 14 is a 14 isnt it?

The bolt pattern is the same but I've never compared them side by side to see design differences.  The stock 521 14" wheel might actually fit over the 620 disc brake. After it was designed for a 14" wheel while the Beebani (sp?) kits are based on calipers and rotors that were designed for larger diameter wheels.
