My 05 VW Jetta TDI took a poop on me monday, fuel pump decided to die...And I don't have 500$ laying around for a new supply pump...So now I'm dailying my s13 to work. I have about a 30mi drive to work every morning, and let me tell you, the JIC Magics are a beast! I was wondering how many of you guys daily your CA powered cars?

I don't daily mine, but I take it to work a few times a month for some spirited driving and it is definitely spirited. Mine sucks on gas because it is no longer stock and has massive injectors and tuned to not be so fuel efficient (you get the point). But it is nice to have a cool car to jump in when you're main squeeze lets you down.

I daily drive mine in the warmer months here in Michigan. It hasn't left me stranded yet (knock on wood!). Probably the funniest comment I've ever got about it was while I was sititng downtown in front of my car with my pal one night (we do this sometimes) a couple of guys walked buy and called it a Probe..I didn't correct them, but little did they know :P

I drive a work vehicle everyday, so I don't daily mine, but it's my vehicle of choice for about everything else. I could certainly drive mine daily if I wanted to, and I did daily this CA18 in my old S13 chassis.

I DD mine every day now that I had to sell my mkIII supra and my sw20:( But it's not bad at all, I love driving my 240 fo sho!
Actually bad weather or not!!!! I live in CO and I drive it on snow and ice daily! Actually I have alot of people who are like WHAT!?!?!??! You drive a rwd car on ice!??!?!?! Well actually the CA is what makes this possible!!!! The reason? It's not a torque monster where I lose traction every 5 seconds and spin my wheels all over the place lmao! Plus since it's easy to drift I'm sliding anyway lol ice or not jk jk :rotfl But on a serious note it will not make it out of town! I would not trust it on a roadtrip to save my life yet. Slowly after I replace like everything on the car I would though:) And do a full teardown and rebuild on the engine:) But right now it gets me from A to B and sometimes to Z when I go hang out with my buddy steve who has a 350! (Bad joke) :gapteeth: But more power to anyone rockin the CA that at least drive it lol :mike

I'm not going to lie, driving it to work the first time I was for sure it would break something... Or something devastating would happen... but it hasn't let me down yet! I just wish I had some creature comforts now... Like maybe heat...

Well, mainly because I've had everything laying in pieces for the past 2 years... That and it is a car that is 20 years old, and midwest roads suck, they're very hard on suspension components... Our dealerships warranty claims on tie rods, ball joints and control arms is through the roof due to these crappy roads. Cars break, and thats what keeps me employed, the downside being wrenching isn't something that pays well unless you live in the city.

Ever since my re-build 2 years ago I have been driving mine every day. No complaints on my end.
