Thanks, today after got home from work i finished working on the shiftlink and so i decided to take it out for a little test despite the fact that i hadn't connect the sidemount intercooler and the engine a/t control input signal...and let me tell you....she ran like she was pulling the 18-wheelers!!!!! one second she pull hard all the way to 3000rpm and then sputter and the next second she just crawling up to speed but @ about 3000-3500rpm she began to sputter!!!! this is running on 1st and 2nd gear only. i guess maybe b'cause the intercooler isn't connect and the a/t input signals or maybe the maf and then again it might be the tps sensor causing it not to accellerate smoothly. oh well, guess i will had to figure it out the hard way. Anyway, to answer to your question why did i chose to do the automatic.....well, before owning an automatic i owned an 5-speed and always love the 5-speed...but let me tell you, i had experience racing with an automatic on the freeway and it's seen to me that the automatic is down-shift more quicker than the 5-speed and it can redline more quicker if you modify it right (like my nephew's sr20det-auto RHD...came straight from japan and it can redline every gear)....but the main reason is because i just got tired of the 5-speed. If you lived in Dallas, Texas then you will know what i am talking about (traffic jam)NickS13 wrote:Cool,Cool keep us updated! one question. What made you go auto? let me know!
