well, first of i wanna clean her up real good. including completely stripping the interior of everything but the dash and cleaning the hell out of everything. a good wash, and wax to make it look as best as possible, and shining up those SE wheels. after that gonna change every fluid possible, replace all the filters and brakes. just wanna completely go over it and get a good assesment of what kinda shape everything is in. im gonna keep the looks pretty simple, new paint(same color) eventually, want coilovers, exhaust, and intake. basically just getting her in tip top shape, replacing things that need to be replaced over the next year till after my wedding next october. after thats paid for, funds will go towards a KA-T setup.

Don't kill me for asking this, but how bad would it be to cut the stock springs for the time being to get rid of that hideous wheel gap until i can find a good deal on coilovers? anyone done it and have opinions on ride quality/handling?

well i definitely cant spend any money on her till next month sometime. but hoping to do something with my tax return. how to those tein springs ride? i want lowness but not terribly stiff. i had some cheap a** ebay sleeve type coilovers on my old honda crx and those biches were brutal!! cornered crazy good but anything less than the smoothest road was a kidney killer.

Clean find man. Don't cut those stock springs, your ride will be crap. A buddy did that on his car and every time we hit a dip in the road, it bounced like a billion times. :gapteeth: It is your car but just a fair warning. Get some good springs and drop it a few inches. Good Luck.

I'm in South Austin. There is usually a Nissan meet in Buda,TX once every year but I haven't gone in a few years. There used to be a Nismo meet back in the day when my SR was bone stock. That was like 2003 lol. I been out the game for awhile but now I'm ready to dyno in January. Hit the strip at San Antonio Raceway. I Started working on her again in 2007.

I don't like to talk crap about what my car is gonna do. That's when bad things happen. The dyno and track times will speak for itself since I'm sure there's some haters on another board "lurking" around here. I really don't do the meet thing anymore. Too much rice, cops, haters and stupidity.
