I'm going to install alot of suspension and brake stuff today and had a few questions. First of all should I lubricate the heim joints on my SPL control arms or are they ready to go? Also do i need to order new brake shims, I didn't see any with the new Hawk HPS pads I bought. Can I use the old ones? What do the shims actually do? Thanks.

1. The heim joints don't need lube

2. The pads don't need shims but the shims help to quiet the brakes.
