whole car shaking neeed some possiblities and help please

okay my car was fine last night driving around in the snow but i didnt go on the highway at all.

This morning when i hopped on 95 to go to school my whole friggin car started shaking. This was different from the bad tie rod end shake that i experienced once before , i mean the whole damn car was shaking. The only thing wrong with the front end is my controll arms and i dont think they are the source of the problem. However my transmission has been acting funny. is there any possibility that my transmition could be the source of all the shaking.

Check your rims you may have snow stuck on the inside of them. It can cause sever wheel unbalance, which would make the car shake.

start simple. check for snow stuck in the wheels. if that's not it, with the car off and cool, grab the intake manifold and shake the engine to see if there's any play in the motor mounts. those would be the first two places i'd check.

one time, when i was an idiot, i tried doing a mad DRifT i spun out and went into someone's yard. got all kinds of if s*** stuck in my wheel...

Might also be flat spots on the tires from sitting in the cold. Drive on a flat highway for about 5-10 minutes at highway speed and see if the condition improves. I get this every day on my Suburban as I enter I-95 ... bad shaking until about 2 miles into the drive. Somebody said it here; start simple. Good luck!
