Went out at lunch today on a 90 degree day and the metal on my stick shifter was burning my hand - ouch! :ohno: It's a little bit hard not to touch that part. The good news is this is easily the worst thing that's happened to me with this car so far. ;)

same thing happened to me today - I was thinking that I might need to keep a sock in the car for the Summer! (shifter condom)

I live in Georgia, so the heat is going to get a lot worse before it gets better

Yup...that's why I laugh at those who put on aftermarket shifters :gapteeth:

Oh yeah...especially when the sun comes straight through the windshield and hits it. Owie. It is like being branded.

That is when I'm glad I have an auto...only have to touch it once. :yesnod
