My first THIRD GEAR SCRATCH!! And I wasnt' even trying! Hahahaha, some idiot at a red light trying to punch it and beat me off the line....hahahahahha, I smoked him, including a sweet scratch as I powered my sweatheart into third gear!

I am now at 1240 miles, so for the first time I am now really getting on it, going up to red line and full throttle acceleration. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS CAR!!!

Of course, the weights in the truck probably contributed to the third gear scratch....but that's okay because I'M SO IN LOVE WITH THIS CAR!! (did I say that already?)

Ohhhhhh, the sweet honeymoon!! AAAAAhhhhhhhhhhh!! YES! YES! YES!

Just my opinion, but I consider the 3.5 SE to be pretty substantial in its own right. It's a hellofa lotta car for the money, very responsive, and at times just damn quick! (Probably moreso than 90% of the cars on the road, and the other 10%? Just about all of them are more expensive, some a lot more.)

I even love the way the RPMs "stay up" when I am quick shifting to accept the next gear in a smooth transfer of power....other sticks I have driven seemed to fall off quicker beween shifts, robbing me of power...not so with my White Growling Goddess of the Night! She is hungry for more, and devours the road before me...

Of course, okay, I am prejudiced, and I am in love, but so be it, I am struck! And yes, it is very, very fun!

Yeah, I can understand that, you compare our beloved AC to a Z like that and you'd be dissapointed...I say love her for what she is, and don't compare her to something she's not! (wisdom for other relatinships as well). This is one kick a$$, bad a$$ car!

And as I listened to the tune and growl and prowl of the engine last night, I'm thinking, "how could an engine sound any better than this?" I don't really think it could, it breathes, it roars, it races, it's hungry.....interestingly enough, with all it's faults, this car is almost damn near perfect....of course, I say that now...honeymoon ya know, but me, I think I'll marry this one.

I'm gonna hold on to it for now, I'm not sure about exactly what I will end up doing with/to the suspension. Additionally, as the suspension may loosen over time, I would want to have it to put back on. It's always best to keep options available.

You can call the dealer and have them look up the part number for the RSB, between the 2.5. and the 3.5 (they'll tell you if the part nuimber is different). Personally, I would be surprised if the 3.5 is bigger, because to me it really isn't that big to begin with (hard to imagine ne being much smaller). It was actually a lot smaller/thinner that I was expecting...but its removal did reduce the bounce, which is what I was after.

Well usually the difference is a few millimeters.. nothing too drastic. Let me know if you decide to sell but I'll call the stealership and see what they say.

The AC is a sweet ride, but to say that it bests "90%" of the cars out there is a big stretch. It performs really sweetly for what you pay for it, but there is some real muscle out there...and everyday things keep getting faster:http://www.performancecarnews....Table

okay, so it beats 90% of everything out there for under $35,000.00

by the way, nice link
