"Are you tired of revving the tits off your VH45 to make power?"

"Is your VH45 not all that its cracked up to be?"

"Are you sick and tired of being beaten by 5 litre chevvy's?"

"WELL what if you could solve all these problems by fitting a billet stroker crank and rod set!"

Essentially this will give you a square Bore / stroke ratio with a capacity of 5000 cc. Rods capable of withstanding up to 300 hp each!

So ... Who would be interested in VH45 BILLET STROKER CRANK & ROD SET?

I've already got steel rods and 98mm pistons. Might be interested in a billet crank if it retained the stock stroke, but when I priced one over here in the UK, it was going to cost me about $13,000 in your money (as a one-off item)

well i'm chasing 8 people and the price would be well under half of that price you said ...

stroking to 5 litres makes the stroke still less than the bore so still a revvy motor but power and torque on tap

Love to rev my VH45DE, even the exquisitely smooth VH45DE (shorter stroke!). If I want a truck engine, I'd get a VK56DE, which is a stroked VK45DE.

Impul 5.1L stroker is limited to around 6200 rpm.

Long live the top end!

There ain't much getting past me either these days and if I do technically lose I sure do catch them off guard and get their attention. Besides...that is one of the best things about the Q45....reving it out to 7,300rpms.

i am a microtech distributer

the revs wont change. these engines (as are most v8's) are limited by the valvetrain setup anyway

My JWT ECU & TCU combined with the Level Ten transmission put's a bright enough smile on my face. I prefer not to mod the engine itself since it's my daily driver right now.

I'm interested, I have a spare vh45 I wanna build some more cubes into someday.
Problem like most of us is I have to invest funds needed to build. A monster motor into the car first lol
As far as rpm limits, I don't see why a properly balanced vh stroker assembly wouldn't be capable of at least the stock 6900 rpm. Geez, BBC motors Rev 6500+ all day
Even buick big blocks can be built to Rev 7000rpm as the stroke is short for the big block world at 3.900 inches.
So again it's hard for me to believe that a vh45 with a 3.636" stroke would be rpm limited in any way.

You do realize this is an 11 year old thread right? Member Ezekial was last on this forum on Mon Mar 24, 2008 (8 years ago) so I wouldn't wait for a reply.
