The thought of my Q turning 17years in just a few months is starting to give me the chills. I've never felt this before, I'm actually excited and proud. And the thought that 20yrs is only 3 yrs away puts a smile on my face. And the old temptress still gets compliments about how sexy she is. Just a month ago a woman who's family member owned a 2000 I30 thought mine was a '01 or '02 <what, does it really look that good?

So the race against time and failure is on the way, I intend to make it to 20 will you? What will you '90 Q guys be doing to ensure you make it?

I intend to Add a New Battery, change Spark plugs, Update Brakes, professionally clean injectors and who knows what else...this is a short list on a "Running list that i keep"

How important is it to pull the plenum and clean? What's on your itinerary?

I'm approaching 17 but my mileage is low for the model year at 159k. Dennis... he's got 30 years of driving on his Q!

In Dec. it will be 12 years that we picked up my 95 brand new. I cant see myself driving the Q for another 8 years. I'm already itching for a new car.

With 92K on the ODO, and it's been intermittant in the past i'm still confident I've got some life left.

What does Q45Tech's Q look like? Is there a pic in the Gallery or in a post somewhere, I dont believe i've ever seen it.

Lou: Drop her down to liability and Get a second car if you don't already have one. I'll probably do that in about another year.

Looks? Are my last criteria..........thinking of sanding down to bare metal and reprimer.

Faded cracked [orange peel] gray paint [hood and bumpers] from a 1991 accident........[assorted dings]..........drivers seat just starting to crack on upper side

I've been driving without liability for a few years now. I figure I have enough money in the bank to cover what the insurance company would consider a total. Not only that, if the Q gets totaled, I'll get a new car. I only have enough room for 2 cars in my garage and driveway so keeping an extra car is not an option. As far as a second car, we use my wife's Bimmer on the weekends and the Q is the car I don't mind getting scratches as it gets many in front of my job.

My first Q (a 1991, new) was bought in March of 1991 and traded in July of 1998, over 100k miles. My second Q (a 1995, used) was bought in July of 1998 with 54k miles on it and sold in September of 2003 with 120k miles on it. Now I have a 2003 M45 and hope to make it last a while ... recently had it 37.5k mile checkup!

So ... I have driven about 200k miles in some sort of Infiniti in the past 15 years!
