This seems like the one thing missing from the premium package vehicles (this and projectors)... am I the only one that thinks this belongs on the A/C?

Come on now, you guys now how feaking annoying it is to get the seat in the sweet spot, only to have your wife, or valet guy mess it up!!!!

What do you guys think?

I'm the only one that drives my car so it's not too big of a deal to me. I understand how it might be an inconvenience to not have it though...these power seats that adjust every which way can be a royal PITA to get back to that perfect setting...

...I think there would be more of a demand for projectors though.

everytime i get my oil changed or car serviced at the dealership, they move my seat, and its a MAJOR PITA to get them back to the way i like them.....sometimes i wish i just didnt have the 8 way power seat and had the normal seat to make it easier.

i think with power seats a memory setting shouldn't be optional, it should be standard. I'll seriously drive for about an hour while constantly adjusting until i finally trick myself into thinking the seat is just where i want it.

making a guest appearance from the z forum Best form of memory seats is to keep anyone from driving lol but i agree that mem seats should be a basic standard on any new car...not just the luxury ones.

i would love to have this feauture also , im not as passionate as Azurecoupe0888 is about it , but still, my wife is 5'5" and im 6'6" and we both drive my a/c so it would be nice to just have a 1 touch button feature because have you ever noticed you will have your seat set in a certain place for a long time then someone moves it and you can never get it back to where it was before.

the purpose of this thread is to generate discussion... that's what a forum is for, exchange of ideas... I can see fom your limited post count that either exchange of information is not a priority to you, or you have nothing positive to offer.. in either case, that's all the more reason for you not to join in on this discussion

Do you think A/C owners are the only ones that read through these forums? You don't think guys from marketing and development read through these, skimming through the BS, and sometimes stumbling upon authentic conversations about potential improvements to their vehicle...

OK, great, well every thing that happens stems from an idea.. even if its elementary for us, perhaps, with enough interest... NIssan will see how truely STUPID it is to make a front seat with 8 way power seats and not have a memory setting... its just plain dumb... and maybe, for 2010, its something that they remedy... and maybe, just maybe that remedy comes from someone reading through a thread somewhere on the internet like this one...

And if that answer isn't good enough, and you have nothing positive to contribute, then in the future please just stay the f*ck out of my threads! Thanks!

Dude, Wtf?

Nobody likes a killjoy, and so far nobody likes you. So keep it to yourself from now on. Positive comments, constructive comments, or none at all. The ban hammer has already come down once recently.

similar height issue here...would def be nice to just get in press a button and be done...or even better, if the car could sense it based on which key you had and adjust itself after you turned it on

They a button you push down near the automatic seat adjuster controls. I let my gf drive home from the bar a week ago because I had wayy too much to drink, I still haven't got the seat back to exactly the way I want it.

mhm1170, you pissed me off royally last time you popped in, threatening Robert about the Stillen meet. You will stay on topic and post useful, constructive information, or you will end up like nightrain. End of story.

i agree memory seats would be nice but what i really want is to have it set to where when you start the car the seat goes to the correct position and the steering wheel comes down to the correct position last set like my dad's E500. i like the have the steering wheel low, almost touching my legs. well when you have it low like that, it's impossible to get out. so i have to lift it up and then when i get in bring it back down. not something really major, just wish it was like my dad's car so that when i turn off the car and open the door, the seat goes all the way back and the steering wheel lifts up and then when you start the car it goes back to the exact position it was at. doesn't the G37 have like the same thing?

BMW does that. The seats set themselves at a particular position for the driver, depending on which key unlocks it. Also the M35/45 do it also, with the memory steering wheel and set thing

MY Acura TL-S has this feature and I love it! Although my wife primarily drives it, when I drive it, its such a creature comfort to just get in and hit that button I believe the Maximas have this feature right?

maybe as on option or on the NEW 2009 Maxima. my mom has a pretty much base 2007 Nissan Maxima and it's just like the altima, power driver seat with no memory seats and no power adjustable steering column.
