I just ordered a full array of LED bulbs from that site to test out on our car (front signal/driving lamp bulbs, rear signal/driving lamp bulbs, rear backup lamp bulbs, rear license plate bulbs). I will let everyone know whether or not the load resistors are needed to prevent hyperflash.Leo2005 wrote:Heres a nice bulbs for turn signal. Parking lights will be white and turn signals are amber. Thats something to consider but kinda expensive.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
Thanks! As it turns out I only managed to order the bulbs for the front, the rear signals, the backup lamps and the license plate lamps. I screwed up with the license plate bulbs as they're about a quarter inch too long, so I'll have to order some shorter ones. For the backup lamps, I was unable to get in there to change them. Any advice?Leo2005 wrote:Hey Edd. Before installing brake lights in the back if you bought them check my instructions. zerothread/326090Because the bulb has the same connector but japanese using different wire diagram.
Does the procedure on pg 8-28 of the owners manual not work? The backup lamp is held in place with 3 bolt/nuts. You need to remove the small access panel on the inside of the hatch to get at the third bolt.EddNog wrote:For the backup lamps, I was unable to get in there to change them. Any advice?-Ed
The issue I ran into above is after I undid all three bolts (the two to the outside as well as the one under the inside access cover). The lamp is still stuck on very tight towards the inside corner. The outside edge (where the two outside bolts are) is looser so I was able to lift it away about a quarter inch and peek in.philipa_240sx wrote:
