It seems like a lot of people aren't happy with SLR's customer service or wait time (or even products lately) so I've been looking into another company making headers. A local shop that does GREAT work has stepped up to the plate to make them as long as there is interest. They'd be more affordable than the SLRs and the company has awesome customer service.

They would also fit on the R50 Pathfinders with the 3.3L which currently no one makes headers for. Assuming everything works out they should fit Xterras and Frontiers too.

I'll have my set on the 13th if there is interest.

Any chance of them making a set for the 3.5? I would be interested if the price was right.

I could discuss having them make some for the 3.5 however I don't have one to use as the test vehicle. Lets see if anyone else wants them for the 3.5

NISMO makes a set for the 3.5 Pathfinder. One my local Nissan Dealers( of the 4 we have ) has a set on display. I wished they fit the 3.3 but alas they don't.

I saw them with my own eyes sitting on the display wall behind the parts counter at one of my local Nissan Dealers. The parts guy said they came from Nismo.

They even had the threaded port for the oxygen sensor in them.

Does this dealer have an email address? I have looked for god knows how long and have found nothing for the 3.5 Pathy. For every other 3.5 vehicle but never the Pathy.

Would the two of you that voted over here mind voting in another poll I set up? It was too difficult trying to count from 5 different websites. Some people are having problems with the poll not displaying correctly, so let me know if it doesn't work.

Your poll URL seems to work for me.

I talked to the dealer and they are long gone! Now they tell me that they were Stillen's....

I wish they could get their story straight.........RESEARCH TO THE RESCUE!

So what is the story for these headers, from what i heard about the SLR headers is that the xterra/frontier cat is located farther down the exhaust and the pathfinder exhaust manifold has the cat right next to it, so do these headers incorporate the circular flange (pathfinder) or the triangular flange(xterra/frontier)?

So far nothing has been done on these headers. I put the project on hold as soon as I heard that AC (4x4parts.com) had headers for the VG33 in the works. This was a few months ago and I haven't heard any details since. They wouldn't tell me a thing even when I offered to abort my header project if they were going to be doing the same thing.
