Well my Prelude was totalled out earlier this month (less than 6 weeks after having finally paid it off) and I just bought a mint '95 240SX SE 5spd with only 88k on the odometer. I have quite a bit left over from the insurance settlement, and am going to swap to the SR towards the end of February to maybe early March. SGP in Houston will be doing all the work and I wanted to upgrade the motor as much as I could during the process, since they're giving me a break on labor. Now I was looking at the full-race manifolds for the SR, and would really like to have a set of these snakes running off my head. But will I have to sacrifice my A/C or power steering? Is there anything I should look out for? I'd like to hear from people who have personal experiences with quality parts. My goal with this car is to make around 350whp, but keep all the features and creature comforts the car came with. Any input or help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

whats your definition of full race manifold? It probably comes down to quality. Quality in materials used and quality in worksmanship. There are so many out there that will probably suit you. Just try to stay away from the ebay ones, I tried one and it cracked on me...get what you pay for I guess, serves me right :-/

Full-Race is a company that fabricates high quality turbo components. Check out the site, they have some quality stuff...

Just wondering if anyone had any hands on experience with them.

Did you get the top mount or the bottom mount manifold? And are you going to be able to keep your A/C, power steering, etc...? That's mostly what I'm worried about, losing my A/C right before the Texas summer...

bomex: that is a full race manithey are pretty much THE best mani out

but for a 350hp goal, why not get a gt25r or something and use the stock manifold? much less dough

Very true, but I want to make 350whp without having to run high boost levels. In order for that to work, I need everything to be as efficient as possible, and this manifold just oozes exhaust gas routing efficiency
