I'm sick of it, the cold that is! And if it's not cold it's raining but I rather like the rain though.

What is this "cold" you speak of? It was 70 degrees here yesterday, and it will be in the 60s for the rest of the week. I'm going on a hike this afternoon, probably in shorts and a t-shirt. I'll have the windows down and the sunroof open on the drive to the state park.

South > North by so large a margin its not even comparable.

WTF are hurricanes? Florida is not part of the south, I am talking about AL, GA, TN, and those corners of the states that border them (FL not included).

Florida is a bunch of northern people who went south and created their own old people state.

I'm talking about the good 'ol "I can't understand you, go back you your country, white power!" south. Where cars don't rust, they just become part of the landscape.

if you want to come down to the ranch and see how much "yankee" we are....... riding horses, playing with our bows and guns, camping, hunting, and milking our cows......

Ive lived in florida my entire life....... there maybe a ton of old yankees in boca and stuff, but there def is true southerners here.

I only have grits when the boys go fishing.......... love cheese grits and fresh fish.

Im more a biskets and gravy, okra, greens, and home made corn bread

we live in a log home my bf, stepdad, and grandfather built with their own hands.

as far as how "country" I am...........

my bf makes fun of me for the snake collection(ones I caught) I had, my pet skunk, and my two pet raccoons. I also had a few goats including one that used to sleep with me in my bed as a kid.......

now that we moved into a more "city" neighborhood I cant have those. my bf is shopping for a house where I can have atleast a goat and a bunch of dogs.......

O yeah my real dad is a falconer......... is that country?

everyone is depressing me with their southern style talking which leads me to think of warm weather lol

when it comes to "country", this is how country some ppl i know are..

have a REAL truck as a car bed, have a conderate flag outside on a flag pole, go into the local ditches to go carp shooting (with shotguns and what not). and this is all ADDING onto what has been said already

the funny thing is, the one kid i know has a Honda Accord that is kinda "riced" out if you know what i mean..previous owner removed O2 sensor to get an extra 10hp... lol

The cold weather and snow wouldnt be so bad if i had a heated garage. I didnt choose to live in Chicago so im stuck here for a while. Spring and warmer weather is just around that snow covered corner.

I used to go over the road trucking with my father, and doing alot of runs down south got me to love cheese grits, and biscuts and sausage gravy, its hard to find any grits around here though.
