I think I'm about to join the ranks of the 240sx owners. I'm looking at the s13 because it looks like I can do more to modify it and still come out less than an s14.

I'm wondering though, to get the motor swapped, after it dies, how much would that be in Canadian dollars? I mean, has anyone here (from Vancouver!) done it?

Or doing the s13 (headlight) conversion?

Heck, any good mechanics or shops around here you recommend?

Well.....I'm in Calgary and I don't know of anyone else posting here that is from anywhere closer. Have you tried checking out NorthWestNissans.com. This is the local Nissan club for Van. and the Northern States. There's tons of info on it.If you want to know how much for a swap it will cost around $4000 Cdn for a Red or Black top complete. For an S-13 front clip your looking around $6000 Cdn.My buddy did it last year and got his clip through Speedville in Calgary. It took six months to get his clip due to a mix up in paperwork at the border. I think it sat in customs for more than 2 months.I'm sure you'll be able to find a shop in Van.

Don Nimi runs and owns this shop. He is located i Vancouver. His shop may be completed by now. I had a chance to see it before they started construction. It was a huge shop. I can't wait to make another trip to Vancouver. Hopefully, it won't rain the whole time again.
