God where to begin... well, lets go with body since thats what you see first.
1.Most obvious thing about my car is the badly damaged drivers side rear quarter panel Basically has a guard rail imprint in it behind the rear tire. Not unbearable but not pretty.
2. Rear bumper cover also needs replaced and the support under it is pushed over about an inch due to said guard rail.
3. Front bumper cover also needs replaced and is cracked and scuffed and misaligned also due to said guard rail.
4. Passenger side rear quarter panel is also dented from being hit and run while previous owner was at work.
5. I aslo need a new chuki style fender flare thingy because the new drivers side fender is from a pig nose
6. I need a drivers door because somebody hit it with their door so hard one day while I was at work that it cracked it and dented it on the body line.
7. I also have a dent on both back corners of my sun roof because my friends thought it'd be cool to sit in the sun roof opening going down the road. They wiegh too much for the roof support structure
8. I need a new spoiler because the factory foam one wieghs a ton and their are chunks of it missing from when my bike rack got too heavy for it to hold lol
9. Need a new hood cause mine has been repaired 3 times now and is covered in dents and repair marks that cant be fixed
10. Need a new front lip cause the factory one got ripped off by a truck tire on the interstate one day
11. Need a new drivers side headlight gromet/facia because the new headlight didn't come with one.
12. Both inner fenders are gone
13. Obviously as many times as I have rattle canned it to make the new/repaired panels the same color as the rest of the car I need a new paint job
14. The core support is pretty ugly looking now after being damaged and pulled so many times
I guess that's all on the exterior... on to the interior. You get in my car and you notice:
15. Drivers seat is old and worn/torn
16. Steering wheel is also old and worn/torn but has a cover on it
17. The passenger side floor mat is mysteriously absent....
18. Overhead light cover is missing because I cramed 9 people in my car one day. 7 of which girls.
19. Carpeting is VERY stained... lol It's like a very colorful puzzle of spilled drinks haha
20. I have wires running next to my seat and up into the dash near my pedals under my head unit (control and rca for amp, and also antenna wire and a couple random ones for my sub woofer monitor)
21. The plastic thing that has the window switches in it on the drivers door is broken in half...
22. Auto seat belts occasionally f*** up and get stuck or just quit working till I reset the ecu... Yay
23. The CD player WILL NOT eject a CD...
24. The cigarette lighter does not work any more... it used to. I still have a reading of 12v on my DMM but yet it does not work...
25. The wiring is non existent for the back hatch since it got replaced so nothing on it works
26. Hatch also leaks because of rust under spoiler and old tail light weather stripping
I think that all of it for interior.. now on to engine/chasis/suspension and random driving problems. What you notice when you look under the hood then get in and go for a ride:
27. Front main seal is shot. Leaks 1 qt per week or 500 miles
28. The fan shroud is broken/gone
29. My short ram intake isn't mounted to anything since the shroud is gone (and thats the reason it broke and is gone) and it's resting on the strut tower for support
30. My battery leaks and is heavily corroded. I clean it one day it's got an inch thick crust of corrosion on it the next...
31. The oil pan is dented from the car being lowered and bottoming out on things
32. Front sway bar is broken/missing. I removed it cause the frame mount on drivers side snapped off and I didn't want to fix it
33. Front driver side control arm frame mount is bent from bottoming out (affects caster in that wheel)
34. Both front ball joints are toast and need replaced and makes lots of noise
*Oil Pan, sway bar, control arm, and ball joints all damaged by the same bottoming out incident. Their was a
VERY BIG pot hole on the interstate that I fell into and I have coilovers... not good at 70mph
35. My tie rod end bushings are pretty much toast
36. My car is lowered on coilovers with stock suspension components, I.E. I have 2.5* of negative camber and 1.5* toe in the rear. Not only can you see it but it EATS tires.
37. My clutch chatters alot starting from a stop... always has, I guess it always will. Still grabs strong though.
38. I have no A/C
39. I have no P/S
40. I have no Cruise Control
41. I have no windshield washer
42. I have a exhaust leak/rattle at certain rpms coming from AIV opening on manifold that I blocked with a nickel
43. My sun roof wistles above 80mph
44. If you hit a big bump or too many bumps you have to turn the headlights on/off to reset the position of the pop ups because they sag a little more after every bump
I guess that's it... god that's alot lol. What a POS haha.
BUT YOU KNOW WHAT... Everybody that knows me or comes by where I work or sees me on the streets compliments me on my car. It's a beast of a machine. It does what it was designed to do very well and looks mean as f*** doing it. All it's problems just give it character and make it all the more battle ready and mean. Everybody wants my car and I get offers on it all the time. I've been offered 3 grand for it. But that car is a part of me. My blood, sweat and tears are on every nut and bolt of that car and I've invested more of my life into that car than most people have to invest. That car is my passion. Even if it gets totalled some day I will get one like it and keep it for parts/memories. Me and that car have been through so much the past few years you could never imagine and I could never properly explain it all in text.
