Ah, I can't compete. I've only got 152k on my 240, however my brother's '93 Altima has over 212k as does my mom's Villager. Both are original trannies and engines.

I've got 136K on mine right now and it runs like a dream. My syncro's are slightly worn but that's expected with that many miles, but other then that it's great. Even after being wrecked lol

My '89 S-13 has 186,000 miles. Runs so well, I still take her to the track 4 times per year.

I thought I had a lot of miles after just cracking 142K, guess I've got some learning to do, although, if I make the roadie to the meet, that's gonna tag on like another 1K in a weekend

Don't let the 240Z owners post on this thread. 300K is not an unreasonable number. I think my 73 is at 265K.

Yea.... miles mean nothing... if you car is kept in mint working order, then mile numbers don't matter in the least... my firend has 100,000 less miles then me and his car runs half as good as mine....

Are miles on the odometer a reflection of miles on the car or the engine? Would a swap put you back at a lower number?

Well that's an interesting question. The odometer is a mile rating of the entire car and if you have the same engine as what came with it then it is the same for it, but if you change engines then the milage is most certinly gonna be different on it then what is on your vehicle.

I hear ya...my bro and I just bought an AE86, and there's 194K on the odo....that thing still runs like a beauty, and it even passed smog by a long shot...I mean, it didn't even barely pass, it passed with flying colors! The mechanic was like, "Dude, I didn't think it was gonna pass...."

Haha! :ylsuper

If I were to sell it (IF is the key word), I'd probably sell it for $920-$1000 because of how wwell it runs....

My 89 240SX has just over 200K, and I got the infamous timing chain problem. It's getting a new heart though.
