its tough, as a public figure to tell you where to stay away from (legal reasons) but i can tell you a few shops in monmouth county that are good:

firestone in west long branch = great dudes. they did all my wheel alignments- spot on everytime. super friendly employees.

garden state tire in west long branch = i know the owner for 20+ years. great friend of the family. the family-owned business fleet are all serviced by him//his guys.

freehold hyundai has a top-notch dealership. feels like a german dealership.

i will say this: of the few nissan dealerships that i have purchased cars & parts from, = NONE were satisfying.

I go to DCH Toyota, they are great with my 2014, never had an issue from them, never felt like they were dishonest... I look for honesty in mechanics, more than a cheaper price, as they say you get what you pay for.. I've also gone to World Jeep in Shrewsbury, great crew there too
