Oh really?? You need to come back then Hey thanks for the compliment. I dunno about sr, cause sr doesn't have torque. and if you break something tiny on a sr good luck trying to find the stock oem replacement parts. So I went ahead and added the t to my ka.

I have a 5 spd/KA24DE+T in my '93 240sx 'vert.

Ihiryu: you can get SR parts easily in the US. The engines have been here for 15 years now!

SR's have plenty of support for OEM and aftermarket parts in the US. KA's can't rev or handle 1.0 bar without being built

Yes they can. I"ve know a few ka's over 1bar or at is and are jsut fine. One runs 22psi on race gas. Other stock KA's I know with just metal HG have been running over 1 bar for a while. Don't make statements that are fake.

Oooh, nice! Textbook example of how to try to ruin a thread by going from a decent discussion, to rehashing a retarded old debate with 2 easy posts!

umm he's right, the ka can handle 20 psi with a set of 680's, MSD BTM and something stand alone....

when i meant something small, i meant like AC compressor, there's so many guys tryin to get them. And like the coil packs, my brother's been trying to find some forever, he just needs one. And what about sensors?? You can't find TPS sensor for SR just laying around, you need to use one from a 95 KA. And the CPS, and so forth. For my KA, I can get just about everything for super cheap, i mean the cam gears are only 25 bucks.

sup frank welcome to the ka-t world....you can get a lot of info on ka-t.org. Umm...the DP I got the flange and took it to a muffler shop w/ measurements. I can't remember the measurements though.... Umm when I had this motor it was in my s14, and we ripped it out and put it into the vert...so not really a cost on it.

Decent? Well I dunno, I guess it's how deep your pockets are lol. (Like I have deep pockets, but I also have big holes in them)

Go buy an electric fan off the back, use water wetter, MAKE SURE YOU PUT COOLANT IN RIGHT!!

lol on the boost, stock maf is only good for roughly 260 hp, after that it's time for a new maf, like a z32 n60 maf. injectors I use 550's which are good up to 17 psi on a stock motor and pump gas (93 down here in tx)

But yeah if you need more info hit me up on aim "Insanehiryu", but check out ka-t, really really helpful page

They can be rebuilt, you know.

http://www.optionimports.com/oemnissan.htmlBehold, page full of OEM Nissan goodies for the SR.

Chances are, you can find a lot of senders, sensors, etc. on other models. At most, you'll have to solder on a new plug to the wiring harness. No big deal.

Yes, KA stuff is abundant. So is SR stuff. Even some of the FWD SR stuff works on the RWD engines, you know.
