Who makes Urethane engine mounts for the 1990 infiniti Q45?

If not, I'm going to make my own by adapting something that is similar. Unless someone else has done this already. I am tired of swapping out expensive OEM engine mounts.

Does anyone know of a mount that is produced by energy or similar company that has a stud or bolt application that is similar to the stock Q45 one? Or one that has a stud or bolt on opposite ends so I can fabricate an adapter? I have 2 GM transmission mounts but this is proving to be too complicated since the bolt holes are too far apart (unless I can build an adapter plate).

I'm going to try and get this done before next weekend's autocross for the SD Club Racing Series Championship. I'm currently placing 3rd with my Q45 and 4 passengers :bigthumb:

I am pretty sure they are available but I will look and see for sure.

How many times have you had to replace the engine mounts? They usually last close to 7 years or 60,000 miles.

Congrats on your success!

If they are available, I WANT A SET NOW! hahaha!
Can anyone direct me to some that are for sale?

Being harsh on the car, the engine mounts are the first thing to go bad. Stock mounts won't cut it anymore.

I may have been mistaken about the mounts but you can try this if the CA (Engine code) mounts are nearly the same as the VH45DE (1990-1996 Infiniti Q45 engine): http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/make-y ... s-how.html.

I looked up the part numbers for the OEM Infiniti Q45 engine mounts and they only fit the Q45. :(

thanks for that link, I have seen that before :) I prefer to adapt mounts that currently exist So if they break I can get new ones easily.

The next best bet is to find out the size of the OEM new engine mounts and try to find the closest match in polyurethane.

Thats what I said, lol!

I'm trying to get ideas from you guys as to what is closest to the stock setup so I will have less fabrication work.
