Hi,

I'm about to replace my stock clutch on my 240sx and was wondering, who makes good and affordable OEM clutches?

Or does it even matter since it's just an OEM clutch.

(I'm not looking to do serious mods anytime soon too.)

I've heard Exedy is good and I've seen some on Ebay and was looking at those also.

Thanks for your help!

I have always bought clutches from NAPA and to this date I have never had a problem with one.

I think mine is "Brute Force" or something like that. They make clutches for NASCARs too, or so the shop told me. It was really tight for a few days (i'm sure they all are), and now it has the same stock feel.

Space Boy Matt: Go with the Exedy clutch on eBay. I believe they are one of the top OEM clutch makers in Japan and they come at a very reasonable price. $135 for the clutch + shipping. I'm doing a clutch job next weekend and I've decided on going with a CN clutch and lighten flywheel. Good luck on your swap. latezz

Syn, pepboys used to carry bruteforce since I got one in 97...in 99 a pice of the pressure plate broke & I had a free replacement-lifetime warranty from them (labor wasn't free).

I now have a LUK clutch and that one is just like OEM.
