sorry, its the thing that retards your timing per/lb of boost. its the msd 5462. the instructions give very general instructions of how to wire it to the coil. would this be to the distributor?

hehe, there are some ppl who have this on 96+ 240's but i have had a post going to find out who to install the btm and the ignition that goes with it and have had no luck so far. If the instructions are model specific for a 240 then throw them away cuz msd sends diagrams for ODB1 200sx's and writes 240sx on them.....go figure. I have another post going in the msd tech forums, which are more helpful than calling them, and the guy asked me to post pics of inside the dist. Hopefully that will help them to see what I need to do. If I find out anything, I'll post it

Yes its not that hard but it is a huge pain in the *** since our coil is on the inside and the power transistor is at risk with some msd products. I have a very good idea what ones to use I just wanna make sure so I dont fry ignition components and have to repair them also. I should have the pics posted on the msd site tonight after work, so prolly in a week I should have some info.
