ok well ive searched all over the internet even called a few shops and no one can seem to answer what I feel is a simple question. In my car I have a viper alarm witha 508D field disturbance sensor and I need to adjust the sensitivity of it. I found the module and theres 2 screws on it one for the alarm portion and the other for the warn/away function I just want to know which screw is for which. I was thinkin about just turning them and seeing what happends but I dont feel like making the adjustments completely off.

Look at where one of the screws is. Adjust it about a quarter turn. Close the door, arm the vehicle and trigger it. If the warn gets more sesitive, you've answered your question. If its the other one you want to adjust, turn the screw back where it was and adjust the other. Even an 1/8 of a turn will make a difference. Remember, you don't need it super sesitive. if its a motion sensor, you don't want it going off everytime a bird flies by or a car drives by. If its a shock sensor, you don't want it triggering everytime a loud exhaust goes by your car.
