I've seen the projectors in person, they suck. they are made to the lowest quality possible IMO, the one good thing I can say, is the guy who had them on his truck had em for over a year, and they didn't leak water, but the light output was "meh"
My general rule for intakes goes as follows. Intakes are intakes, they all do the same thing. some materials are better then others, but they are all generally the same. the only difference one will make is if it blocks out heat, and moisture. so if you find one that is ceramic coated (AEM) or some other kind of heat barrier you will be better off, but most filter/adapter combo's will bring in hot air from inside the engine bay, that in most cases will hurt performance over a stock intake. Most of the time, an intake will just amplify the intake sound and make you think your engine is breathing better, when all you have really done is made the already present sounds of the intake more audioble. So to do an intake right, and get maximum benefit from it, you have to the lower intake temp charge, and restrict water from entering into the intake system incorrectly.
