Yeah, there was a limited run of convertible 240's here, only S13's though, for 92 and 93. 94's were leftover 93's. All automatic and only available in black, white, or aztec red I believe.

the convertible was done from the factory... it's not a conversion, the convertible in that picture did have a conversion though, which is the Silvia front end, but stock convertibles came in the 91-93 front ends.

I could have sworn I spotted a convertible with a pignose the other day...but they could have possibly just had the front end replaced.

No, the 'vert in that pic is either a true Japanese Sivia 'vert, or it is a US 240sx 'vert with a Silvia conversion AND coupe doors.

Notice there is no seatbelt tower on the doors? There's the clue.

I don't know if you mean they came stock convertible as opposed to an individual doing it but if you're saying that the vonvertibles were made in a Nissan, factory, it ain't true. Nissan enlisted a 3rd party company to do all their convertibles.

I can't say I like the oversized fenders, stickers, gas cap, or wing, and the wheels aren't my taste either, but other than that I kinda like it. The red goes well with the tan top. I also kinda like how the coupe doors look on it. Looks a little more modern to me I guess. Much nicer.

The roofs weren't really the main difference, it was the doors and rear decklid...

The JDM vert had a hard tonneau (hotness) and no door pillars for seatbelts.

ASC made 'verts out od plain ol' coupes.
