LOL.. You might want to have another cup of coffee this morning. I don't know anything about that company, but I would never want 900hp in a 240 anyway. You could never get that power to the ground, and a dyno queen might as well be a carpet queen.PROJECTRB240SX wrote:THOSE GUYS ARE MORONS.... FOR $11K YOU ARE GETTING A STOCK 2JZ WHICH IS ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE RB26. AND THE RB26 HAS BEEN KNOWN TO HANDLE OVER 1500HP JUST LIKE ANY 2JZ....
THAT COMPANY IS STUPID, AND ANYONE WHO BOUGHT ANYTHING FROM THEM SHOULD REALLY DO THEIR OWN RESEARCH RATHER THAN RELY ON ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU.
I agree with him another question I have is what's the weight difference in engines and transmission?Nameless EJ6 wrote:A 2JZ TT will eat an RB26 all day.
They are MUCH stronger than RB's stock for stock, believe it or not. And with their displacement they put out alot more torque.
I'd love to have the 2JZ in a 240. I would have gone with one but I really don't feel like fabricating mounts and blending Toyota wiring into a Nissan. Plus I'm fine with making 500whp. If you don't need more than 500, there's really no point in doing a 2JZ swap.
the dimension is very close to the rb's but it would have more hood clearance due to the nature of the intake manifold.lyon23 wrote:

PS hey shameless no offence by the smiley just didn't find one that pointed up
that's going to be one wild 240. and the price tag isn't cheap either.ahbongkeo wrote:another 2JZ-GTE into a 240sx http://evotuners.com/victor.htm
No. The 2JZ is not superior the the RB26 if anythign RB26=2JZ. there was a HUGE discussion on this very engine comparison over at the 240 forums a while ago. to say that the 2JZ is better than the RB26 is an opinion and far from a fact.Imissmyturbo wrote:2JZ>RB26>1JZ>RB25=SR20. lol
