Redline is the time attack event hosted by Modified Magazine IIRC. There are car classes naturally to keep the competition fair and the Versa would fall into the micro class.

Wish they held one of these near me.

How is an Evo allowed in Street Class? They should be in modified.

There is drivetrain classifications as well. An EVO won't be able to compete in the same class as most people's cars.

So, in other words, Solo 1 on a road course, then?

you start out in groups based on your practice laps one car gets on the track every 10 seconds till the whole group is on the track passing is ok as long as its done safe all signaling is the same as solo 1 and to pass you must signal

why should an evo be in modified instead of street? an evo is a street car is it not?

the idea is to build the fastest car, not have a stock car and run this

check out the news article on the turn 3 versa we had featured a couple months ago

Just wanted to chime in here....

We do not have a Micro Class in our time attack series for this year. B-Segment cars would run in the FWD class with other compact cars like the Fit, Yaris, Focus, Civic, and Scion tC.

You will need to make power in order to have a chance at competing. Build the engine, throw a turbo on, make 200-225hp at the crank, and you would stand a good chance of doing well if you sort the other parts of the car out (brakes, tires, suspension).

an mr2 with a 3sgte wouldnt be eligible for micro even if they had it, youd be up against the other rwd cars, like james sonfronas in his gt3 cup car, all the s chassis, a bunch of others

i cant remember the definition for the micro class exactly, but i think the versa, fit, and yaris were the only cars allowed in it

thought the micro class was just the size as the classes are divided into sub-classes based on drivetrain layout ie fwd,rwd and awd?can more people chime in on this cause i really wanna run in the micro class
