I myself have beaten a stock G35 while my car was stock so its not hard to believe. other members on here have also beaten G35s. G35 has the same motor but RWD which means it has more drivetrain loss. FWD wont handle as good but less drivetrain loss and will put more power to the wheels. I ran a 14.4 100% stock and I have a thread with timeslips, pictures, videos, etc. a STOCK G35 AUTOMATIC will run a similar time

I'm with Greg on this. I've never raced a car around a track but with my bike it's not uncommon for me to charged down the track at 180+ heading towards a turn then trail brake and down shift 2 (thank God for slipper clutches) all the while leaning into the turn, knees scrapping the pavement and just before I hit the apex, I'm accelerating out of it. Steady throttle control is the key. :yesnod Coasting through a turn and giving it gas will cause the rear wheel to break free and thus causing you to High or Low side!..Not good :tisk:

I don't think he was saying to coast in the turn itself.

team green rider? I raced an '03 zx-6rr for my last few yrs in cali...one of, if not the, first market bike with a slipper. amazing...but deadly when you get used to it and jump on somebody else's bike w/o the slipper.
